Povodom 70. godina postojanja modela Defender, Land Rover počast svojem modelu odaje velikom, ali zaista velikom skicom na snijegu veličine od 250 metara. Razlog za to leži u još jednoj bitnoj činjenici – origiralnog Land Rovera nacrtala su na pijesku baraća Wilkis u Red Wharfu u Velikoj Britaniji. Istovremeno, Land Rover najavljuje Svjetski dan Land Rovera – 30.04.2018. bit će 70 godina od premijere na sajmu automobila u Amsterdamu 1948. godine.
